Aalto University wants to work with employers to integrate the international talent that Finland clearly needs. The best way to do this is to ensure that every student has contact with the world of work during their studies. Today, half of our international alumni work in Finland a year after graduation. We want to increase this proportion further.
In the "Hey Employer!" campaign, Aalto is expanding all its current efforts to build students' connections to working life. We invite employers to, for example, become mentors, start thesis collaborations, or give students challenges to solve as study projects. The campaign was launched by Aalto University President Ilkka Niemelä in his opening speech for the 15th academic year.
